About Me
Hey everybody, my name’s Sophie and I’m writing this from Chicago. I’m an experienced guitar player & I also sing and perform–both covers and originals. I remember when starting to learn to play guitar I got kind of frustrated. I didn’t know where to start. I tried using some guitar books and it all seemed simple enough, I mean all the notes are in a grid so it can’t be that hard right?
I learned a couple things on my own… slowly but surely… until my mother decided it was time to jump start my learning and signed me up for weekly acoustic guitar lessons. I know they are expensive, and not everyone can afford them, so that’s why I decided to start this website to give tips and advice for beginner guitar players so that they have a better chance of learning on their own. I’ll also work on finding some really good easy songs for beginners on acoustic guitar and electric guitar.
